VISD SELECTS APRIL CHAMPION OF THE MONTH

On Tuesday, April 4, Victoria ISD selected Ann Birmingham, VISD Child Nutrition employee of 26 years, and DeLeon Elementary School Child Nutrition Manager, as the April Champion of the Month.

WEST BARBENDERS COMPETE AT STATE

The Victoria West Barbenders Powerlifting Team qualified for the Texas High School Powerlifting Association State Meet and competed on March 25, 2023, in Abilene, Texas.

VISD CREATES THE VISD ACADEMY TO CERTIFY TEACHERS

The Victoria ISD Talent Acquisition, Support, and Retention (TASR) Office is proud to announce the creation of the VISD Academy to Certify Teachers.

VISD CELEBRATES VOLUNTEERS

On Thursday, March 30, Victoria ISD hosted the VISD Volunteer Appreciation Carnival, inviting District volunteers and their families to join in an evening of fun, food, and family entertainment.

The Technology Dept. will hold a One to One Chromebook Parent Meeting for parents with students in grades third thru fifth. If you have not attended a Chromebook meeting this school year, parents or guardians must attend a meeting before their student is eligible to take the Chromebook home.

Victoria ISD's Leadership Definition, Leading Toward Genius, is separated into three categories (Connecting, Growing, and Reaching). This month our focus is on celebrating Growing in Genius. Growing in Genius is comprised of four indicators; the third is Develops Others.

Last month, each campus selected one employee that embodies the “Develops Others” indicator under Growing.
